- Use 1 can tomatoes diced
- Use 1 cup spinach chopped
- Take 3 cloves garlic mashed
- Prepare 2 tsps onion flakes
- Get 1 tsp chilli dried flakes
- Provide 1 tsp basil dried
- Provide 1 1/2 cups cream
- Get 2 tbsps all purpose flour
- Provide 1/4 cup parmesan grated

- Bring a pot of water to a boil, and cook the tortellini until they are al dente. The package I bought said 7mins, so once the time had passed, I drained it
- While the tortellini was cooking, I made the sauce
- In a pan, add the mashed garlic cloves to the oil and saute until it is fragrant. Next add the can of tomatoes, the chopped spinach, basil, onion and chilli flakes and salt and pepper
- Give it a quick stir and cook on medium heat until it is all bubbly
- While this was cooking, I mixed the cream and all purpose flour and whisked it until it was smooth
- Add this mixture to the sauce and the parmesan cheese. Reduce the heat to low and allow it to cook until the sauce thickens
- Finally add the cooked tortellini and mix well to combine
- Serve! A side salad will go well with this!
